Same execution chamber. Prison guard #1 stands before the condemned man strapped to the electric chair.

Guard #1

Electricity shall now be passed through your body until you are dead in accordance with state law. May God have mercy on your soul.

Everyone turns to look toward the phone with breathless anticipation. Cut to Gabby chatting animatedly on the telephone. She sees everyone staring at her and scoffs.

Gabby

Do you mind? I’m on the phone!

She turns her back to the camera and continues to chatter. Cut to condemned man. He turns toward camera.

Condemned Man

(Mutters.) I knew “Take Your Daughter to Work Day” was a bad idea!

Cut to close-up of the clock’s second hand hitting the hour. Cut to guard #1.

Guard #1

Roll on Two!

Electrical sounds are heard. Lights flicker violently. Cut to black.

Gabby

(In the blackness.) Omigod! Like, something happened to the lights! So, anyways…

Gabby’s voice fades away.

The End

Director’s Notes: Two possible scenarios.

1. Have guard #2 strapped to the chair and the line “For refusing to buy tickets to the Policemen’s Ball…etc.” added. The teenager would be guard #2’s daughter wearing his uniform.

2. Have the same condemned man from the previous episodes or a new one in each episode and have the teenager be his daughter also wearing prison stripes.
